A beautiful lawn mostly needs regularity. Mauro comes round with his own equipment, mows your grass and tidies the edges. For large lawns he works with a ride-on mower, so even a big garden is done quickly.

The clippings are taken away, so your garden stays tidy. You do not necessarily have to be home: if the garden is accessible, you agree in advance what needs to be done.

One-off or at fixed times

You can have Mauro come once, for example after a holiday or before a party. Or you agree fixed times, so your lawn stays crisp all through the growing season.

The growing season runs roughly from spring into autumn. In those months mowing weekly to every two weeks is common, depending on the weather and how short you like your lawn. Mauro agrees this with you in the quote.

Good to know about lawn mowing

• Do not mow too short. As a rule of thumb, take off no more than a third of the grass height per mow.
• Mow on a dry day if you can. Wet grass clogs and gives a ragged result.
• Leave the grass a little longer in warm, dry spells. A longer lawn dries out more slowly.
• Sharp blades give a clean cut. Blunt blades tear the grass and leave brown tips.
